The Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute organised a lecture in connection with the visit of the U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, to Sri Lanka. The lecture was held at the Taj Samudra Hotel on 2nd May 2015, and was graced by the presence of parliamentarians, diplomats, senior government officials, academics, social workers, and members of civil society. In his lecture, Secretary Kerry underlined the importance of reconciliation in a post-war setting and the support that the United States would provide in this endeavour.
