Dr. Radhika Coomaraswamy has been recognised for her work in demanding justice for victims of crimes by UN peacekeepers, including sexual violence. She is a member of the Constitutional Council of Sri Lanka and serves on the Board of the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute.
