On 9th April 2026, the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute of International Relations and Strategic Studies (LKIIRSS) had the privilege of welcoming distinguished guests, Ayuko Takahashi, Research Fellow at the Sasakawa Peace Foundation and Takayuki Kubo, Defense Attaché at the Embassy of Japan in Sri Lanka.
They were received by Dr Nishara Mendis, Executive Director of LKI, along with LKI interns Thevni Sendanayake, Venura Jayaratne, and Adhil Fareed.
