The Delegation from the Office of the Prime Minister of Thailand visits the LKI

Amb Ravinatha Aryasinha, the Executive Director of LKI welcomed a delegation of the Office of the Prime Minister of Thailand on 18th March 2024. The visit underscores the commitment of both Thailand and Sri Lanka to enhance collaboration in key areas of mutual interest, further solidifying their ties as active members of the BIMSTEC. LKI was also engaged as the Sri Lankan focal point of the BIMSTEC Network of Policy Think Tanks (BNPTT).

They also engaged with the research team on ongoing research activity at LKI, and regarding the Free Trade Agreement between Sri Lanka and Thailand, and also explored the LKI’s Executive Director’s perspectives on Sri Lanka’s foreign policy.
