Representatives of the Embassy of Israel in New Delhi engage with the LKI

LKI’s Executive Director, Ambassador Ravinatha Aryasinha participated in a virtual meeting with representatives of the Embassy of Israel in New Delhi accredited to Sri Lanka and Mr Dinesh Rodrigo, the Honorary Consul of Israel to Sri Lanka on 24 February 2024.

The Executive Director and the representatives of the Embassy engaged in a wide-ranging discussion on contemporary topics, including Israel-Sri Lanka relations, global power dynamics, Sri Lanka’s interactions with major powers, and the country’s current foreign policy landscape. The Israeli representatives expressed their interest in collaborating with LKI, and explored potential avenues to establish contact between LKI and research institutes in Israel.

Mr. Fares Saab, the Deputy Ambassador of Israel, Ms. Hadas Bakst, the First Secretary & Political Attache of the Embassy of Israel and Mr. Dulanaka Jayasinghe, Research Assistant at the LKI were also associated with the meeting.
