On the 8th of July 2026, the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute of International Relations and Strategic Studies (LKIIRSS) welcomed Mr. Marc-André Franche, United Nations Resident Coordinator (UNRC), Sri Lanka. He was received by Mr. Thushara Rodrigo, Executive Director of LKI and Senior Research Fellows, Ms. Nillasi Liyanage, Ms. Piyumani Ranasinghe along with the LKI interns.
The meeting focused on expanding the LKI’s engagement with the United Nations, Sri Lanka and exchanging views on areas of mutual interest.
