Title: Sustainable Development Goals: Working together for our Common Good

• Prime Minister Solberg emphasized that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are universal aspirations, and advocated for strong ownership of these goals across government, the private sector and civil society.
• She highlighted the importance of achieving equity in education, and mentioned her efforts towards achieving this goal through the establishment of the International Commission on Financing Global Education Opportunity.
• She also expressed her admiration of Sri Lanka’s achievements in education, and her hope that Sri Lanka and Norway could cooperate in this field and with respect to other SDGs, including on the conservation of the world’s oceans.
