The inaugural issue of LKI Policy Insights explores Sri Lanka’s pursuit of strategic autonomy amid intensifying great-power competition and a changing global order. Bringing together research, expert perspectives, and current developments, the publication examines issues shaping Sri Lanka’s foreign relations and strategic interests.
Through five segments; Expert Voices, Research Insights, Event Spotlight, Emerging Voices and Literary Spotlight, the issue features conversations with experts, research on key policy questions, highlights from significant events, perspectives from emerging thinkers and insights from relevant literature. Together, these contributions aim to encourage informed discussion and connect research with the policy issues that matter to Sri Lanka.
