Kathya joined LKI in December 2021.
She obtained her Bachelor of Laws Degree with First Class Honours from Staffordshire University, UK and was awarded the gold medal for best performance. She is currently reading for the Attorneys-at-Law Examination at Sri Lanka Law College. She also holds an Advanced Diploma in Transitional Justice from the Bandaranaike Centre for International Studies.
Kathya has previously worked at the Afghan Embassy in Colombo and completed an internship at UNICEF, Sri Lanka.
At LKI, she is responsible for coordinating the research and communications activities of the organization.
