Chathuka joined LKI in January 2021.
He has 8 years of experience in the Government and semi-public sector. He is a Director of Gajra, Pai and Zhu limited in India as well as Canlac International (Private) Limited. He was part of the Consulting Division at Lanka Logistics & Technologies Ltd., at the Ministry of Defence, as well as a Staff Officer in the Office of Strategic Affairs of the Ministry of Defence.
He holds an MSc in International Development from the University of Bath, UK, and a BA (Hons.) in Business Administration and International Relations from Keele University, UK.
He has in the past worked in research capacities as an Assistant to Hon. Nirj Deva, former MEP for the South East of England at the European Parliament and as an Intern with Dr. Saman Kelegama at the Institute of Policy Studies, Sri Lanka.
Chathuka had played a pivotal role in developing the roadmap for Colombo Vision 2020 and Public Utility Infrastructure with key government agencies, Board of investment, urban planners, and construction firms.
