Angela joined LKI in November 2019, through the Overseas Development Institute Fellowship Scheme.

Angela holds a Master of Arts, in International Economics and Business with a focus on Development Economics from the University of Passau, Germany. She holds a double Bachelor’s degree in International Business, from the University of Applied Sciences in Münster, Germany and the University of Portsmouth, England.

Prior to joining LKI, she worked as an analyst at a Swiss Fund Manager on Guernsey, focusing on global financial markets. During her time at the University of Passau, she was a research assistant at the chair of International Economics, where she concentrated on International Trade. Angela has previously worked for the German Development Agency GIZ in Windhoek, Namibia and was seconded to a local economic think tank.

Her research interests include the field of Macroeconomics, Development Economics (particularly poverty-reduction strategies), as well as Global Financial Markets, and Investments.
