Chaired by the incumbent Foreign Minister of Sri Lanka, the Board of Management comprises distinguished persons from civil society, the media, law and the private sector.

The Executive Director is the main representative of LKI. They are responsible for establishing research priorities, engaging with external stakeholders and policymakers, and upholding the high standards of the institute.

LKI’s team of experts comprise of internationally-credentialed individuals who provide distinctive research, policy recommendations, and analysis on a full range of foreign policy issues.

A small team of highly experienced individuals who manage the Institute's daily operations, finances, communications, stakeholder relationships, and deliver a range of high-class events.
