Ms. Woźniak Patrycja meets with Ambassador Ravinatha Aryasinha

Ambassador Ravinatha Aryasinha, Executive Director of the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute of International Relations and Strategic Studies (LKI) welcomed  Ms. Woźniak Patrycja, Political Officer/Protocol of the Political and Economic Section from the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in New Delhi  on 21 January 2025 at LKI.

The discussion centered on key global and regional topics, including Poland-Sri Lanka relations, EU-Sri Lanka relations, and the foreign policy challenges faced by Sri Lanka amidst the ongoing major power rivalries in the Indian Ocean. It also explored the implications of the Russia-Ukraine conflict

Research Assistant of LKI, Ms. Sulochana Wijayasinghe also participated in the discussion.

පෝලන්ත-ශ්‍රී ලංකා සබඳතා, යුරෝපා සංගම්-ශ්‍රී ලංකා සබඳතා සහ ඉන්දියන් සාගරයේ පවතින ප්‍රධාන බල එදිරිවාදිකම් මධ්‍යයේ ශ්‍රී ලංකාව මුහුණ දෙන විදේශ ප්‍රතිපත්ති අභියෝග ඇතුළු ප්‍රධාන ගෝලීය සහ කලාපීය මාතෘකා පිළිබඳව සාකච්ඡාව කේන්ද්‍රගත විය. රුසියානු-යුක්‍රේන ගැටුම පිළිබඳව ද මෙහි දී සාකච්ඡා විය. 

මෙම සාකච්ඡාවට LKI ආයතනයේ පර්යේෂණ සහකාර සුලෝචනා විජයසිංහ මහත්මිය ද සහභාගි විය.

போலந்து-இலங்கை உறவுகள், ஐரோப்பிய ஒன்றிய-இலங்கை உறவுகள் மற்றும் இந்தியப் பெருங்கடலில் நடந்து வரும் முக்கிய சக்தி போட்டிகளுக்கு மத்தியில் இலங்கை எதிர்கொள்ளும் வெளியுறவுக் கொள்கை சவால்கள் உள்ளிட்ட முக்கிய உலகளாவிய மற்றும் பிராந்திய தலைப்புகளை இந்த விவாதம் மையமாகக் கொண்டது. ரஷ்யா-உக்ரைன் மோதலின் தாக்கங்களையும் இது ஆராய்ந்தது.
