Meeting with Representatives from the U.S Embassy, Sri Lanka

On 22nd September 2023, LKI’s Executive Director, Amb. Ravinatha Aryasinha, welcomed representatives from the U.S Embassy. Discussion topics included the U.S Indo-Pacific Strategy, Sri Lanka’s upcoming chairmanship of the Indian Ocean Rim Association, historical relations between Sri Lanka and the U.S, and the role of the U.S in the Indo-Pacific region.

Dustin Bickel, U.S Regional Indo-Pacific Strategy Coordinator, Kevin Price, Political Officer, and Charitha Fernando, Political Specialist visited the Institute to meet with LKI’s Executive Director. Nilupul Gunawardena, Research Fellow (Global Governance), Michael Iveson, Research Fellow (Global Economy), Dulanaka Jayasinghe, Research Assistant, and Keerthi Martyn, U.S Fulbright Scholar were also in attendance.
