On 18 November 2025, the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute of International Relations and Strategic Studies (LKIIRSS) welcomed Ms. Zunaira Latif, Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan to Sri Lanka. She was received by Dr. Nishara Mendis, Executive Director of LKIIRSS, together with members of the Institute’s research team. A discussion was subsequently held at the LKIIRSS boardroom.
The meeting highlighted several avenues for strengthening Pakistan–Sri Lanka bilateral cooperation, particularly through enhanced cultural exchanges and the significance of people-to- people exchanges, including academic partnerships.
Also in attendance were Ms. Sulochana Wijayasinghe, Researcher at LKI, and Ms. Madhuka Rukmalgama, Researcher at LKI.
