The LKI Library has continued to be available to researchers. Conscious of the need to ensure that its collection remains relevant and current, in recent years the LKI has sought to secure donations to strengthen its collection.
The library has been considerably upgraded in 2024, with the infusion of a core collection of over 550 books on diplomacy, foreign policy, international relations, history, country studies and biographies, donated to the LKI following the passing of the former Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Nanda Godage, by his family. With this, the LKI collection amounts to over 1600 books.
In 2024, the LKI library catalogue has also been upgraded using the PURNA web-based library management system, which has facilitated its integration to the LKI website, which has made the library more accessible and user-friendly.
