Balliol College, in Oxford University, UK is setting up a graduate scholarship scheme in honour of former Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar, an alumni and one time president of the Oxford Union.
The late minister’s widow, Suganthie Kadirgamar, during a recent visit to the university met the Master of the College, Dame Helen Ghosh and made a donation to the graduate donation scheme of Balliol College to inaugurate this scheme.
