H.E. Carmen Moreno, EU Ambassador to Sri Lanka and the Maldives visited the LKI and met with Ambassador Ravinatha Aryasinha, Executive Director/LKI on 27 May 2025 at the Boardroom.
The discussion was centered around the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, H.E. Radoslaw Sikorski. Foreign Minister Sikorski will visit Sri Lanka representing Kaja Kallas, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission.
The LKI will host the Minister and the delegation for a discussion on “Pathways to Transformation: Poland, from Reform to Success” on 28 May 2025.
Mr. Lars Bredal, Deputy Ambassador of the Delegation of the European Union in Sri Lanka, Mr. Akos Baumgartner, Political Attaché from the EU Delegation to Sri Lanka, Dr. Ganeshan Wignaraja, Professorial Fellow, Gateway House, Ms. Sulochana Wijayasinghe, LKI’s Research Assistant and Mr. Abidh Jameel, LKI’s Research Intern was also present at the discussion.
