Dr. Wondeuk Cho, Assistant Professor from the Korea National Diplomatic Academy, Visits LKI

On 26 August 2025, the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute of International Relations and Strategic Studies (LKI) welcomed Dr. Wondeuk Cho, Assistant Professor in the Department of Indo-Pacific Studies and the Center for ASEAN-Indian Studies at the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security, Korea National Diplomatic Academy, along with a representative from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Sri Lanka.

The delegation was received by Rear Admiral (Retd.) Y.N. Jayarathna, Member of the LKI Board, at the LKI Boardroom. The discussion was led by Ms. Sulochana Wijayasinghe and Ms. Maduka Rukmalgama, Research Assistants at LKI, and centred on geopolitics in South Asia, strengthening Sri Lanka–Korea relations, and Sri Lanka’s foreign policy priorities.

Also in attendance were Ms. Yeshiah Peries, Communications Intern at LKI, and Ms. Linara Perera, Research Intern at LKI.
