Ms. Darshana M. Baruah, Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace met with LKI’s Executive Director, Amb. Ravinatha Aryasinha and researchers at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute on the 24th of January 2024. They shared thoughts about their respective research areas and interests which included the politics of the Indian Ocean, small states’ dynamics and Japan’s role in international affairs. Furthermore, they discussed the possible avenues for future collaboration. 

LKI’s Research Fellows Nilupul Gunawardena, Michael Iveson and Dulanaka Jayasinghe, Research Assistant were present at the meeting.
