LKI expresses its sincere sympathies to the families and friends of the victims of the terrible bombings in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday, 21 April 2019. We are particularly saddened by the loss of lives of Sri Lankan and foreign nationals. The authorities in Sri Lanka are dealing with the difficult aftermath of these attacks and the international community has expressed its support for these efforts. LKI will continue its mission to provide insights and recommendations that advance justice, peace, prosperity, and sustainability, with a view to ensuring a better Sri Lanka for future generations.
