AMB. VIJAY KANTA KARNA OF CSIF-NEPAL VISITS LKI

Amb. Vijay Kanta Karna, Former Ambassador of Nepal to Denmark, who is currently the Executive Chairperson for the Centre for Social Inclusion and Federalism (CSIF) in Kathmandu, Nepal, on 1st November  2023, met with LKI’s Executive Director, Amb. Ravinatha Aryasinha and researchers at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Institute. They shared perspectives on the developments in their respective countries and the region – including the emerging power dynamics of South Asia, the future of SAARC, human rights, foreign debt and development. Prospects for cooperation between LKI and the CSIF were also discussed during this meeting. LKI’s Research Assistants Dulanaka Jayasinghe and Nethmi Jinadasa were associated with the meeting.
