On the 15th September, LKI’s Executive Director, Amb. Ravinatha Aryasinha, welcomed two academic researchers from the Institute of International Relations, University of Warsaw. Prof. Jakub Zajaczkowski & Dr. Dorota Heidrich visited Sri Lanka to build relationships with local universities and think tanks.

LKI and University of Warsaw engaged in a rich discussion about Poland’s role in the European response to the war in Ukraine, the future of Sri Lanka-European Union relations, and Sri Lanka’s role in multilateral institutions. The meeting also explored potential areas of collaboration between the institutions. Michael Iveson, Research Fellow (Global Economy), and Dulanaka Jayasinghe, Research Assistant, were in attendance from LKI.
