Meeting with the New Zealand High Commissioner

Amb. Ravintha Aryasinha, Executive Director of LKI, on 28 July, 2023 met His Excellency
Michael Appleton, High Commissioner of New Zealand in Sri Lanka at the Lakshman
Kadirgamar Institute.

During the meeting the Executive Director and the High Commissioner explored opportunities
for strengthening cooperation for research in areas of mutual interest between LKI and similar
research institutes in New Zealand. They also discussed global Foreign Policy trends and their
possible implications for the region
